Tesla also shared a video in the same post demonstrating FSD Supervised driving on Danish roads. The clip provides an early look at the system navigating real-world conditions and infrastructure in Denmark. This marks a key milestone for Denmark and continues the momentum started by the Netherlands earlier this year.
Comparison to the Netherlands Rollout
The Netherlands became the first EU country to grant full national type approval for Tesla FSD Supervised in April 2026. Within weeks, eligible owners began receiving the software. Tesla’s rapid iteration in the Netherlands – with software updates rolling out shortly after regulatory clearance – provides a clear template for what to expect in Denmark.
With approval now secured in Denmark, Tesla owners there can anticipate similar swift access to FSD Supervised on compatible vehicles (primarily HW4 models at launch).
Current Status and Outlook
Denmark joins the Netherlands, Lithuania, and Estonia as an approved market for Tesla FSD Supervised in Europe. The approval comes directly from the national authority (Færdselsstyrelsen) and follows Tesla’s ongoing engagement with European regulators. Subscribe to the mailing list for updates.
