Tesla FSD Supervised in Australia: HW4 Live and HW3 Lite Status
Australia is a live FSD Supervised market on Hardware 4. The v14 rollout for eligible HW4 vehicles began in June 2026, after the earlier Supervised launch path on HW4. Owners on supported HW4 cars can use FSD Supervised today subject to Tesla's usual software eligibility.
HW4: live (v14 from Jun 2026)
HW4 availability is Yes for FSD Supervised v14. Early installs were confirmed through software deployment trackers on eligible HW4 vehicles as the June 2026 rollout started. Unsupervised remains a later target and is not live.
HW3 lite: active development, no release date
HW3 lite is not shipping. An August 2026 Tesla Australia email described HW3 lite as in active development only, with no release date. Do not read that as "coming weeks" or imminent. Tracker availability for hw3 stays No until Tesla actually releases a lite build to HW3 cars.
What to watch
HW4 owners should follow in-car software updates for v14 Supervised features. HW3 owners should treat lite as unannounced timing: development continues, but there is no public date. New Zealand follows the same HW4-live / HW3-lite-in-development pattern in the global table.
